Over the last year we have had the pleasure of working with the Reybold Group in planning an active adult community of luxury townhouses, single-family homes and condos. The Columbia Place development is strategically located in the Talleyville area of Wilmington, DE, with an easy commute to Philadelphia, West Chester, Maryland, and beaches. The site is nearly 15 acres and has a mix of homestyles to fit a variety of tastes. Part of Henrietta Heisler Interiors, Inc.’s role was to create selection packages, in coordination with the Reybold Group, with a range of styles and various levels. We also helped to modify floor plans to maximize space, provided input about exterior options, and made selections for, as well as staged, the model home pictured here.
Inspired by French Country architecture, the homes have a rustic style, blended with French characteristics and modern craftsmanship for a timeless appeal. Each home features open floor plans, first floor owner suites, top end materials and more. Home exteriors are beautifully designed, featuring copper accents, cobblestone paths and drives, along with mahogany shutters and front doors. Inside, floorplans embody luxury and comfort with spacious living areas and superior finishes including sophisticated trim work, eight foot doors and walk-in closets. Upscale kitchens feature high-end appliances with a variety of options to upgrade and customize. In this model home, a sitting loft overlooks the open living room with a tall, two-story ceiling and full-height stone fireplace with a solid stone mantle.
The level of customization available at Columbia Place is unique. To ensure that every home is customized to individual tastes, each Buyer will meet with Reybold’s in-house design specialist to personalize their home. This allows each Buyer to choose individual layouts and design features desired for their home. All homes will have the same French Country elegance but, with personalized touches, no two homes will be alike. Customizations include cabinetry style and finish, appliances, lighting, hardware, fixtures, flooring, and paint. Upscale kitchen, bath, and laundry layout options are also available for each home style. Selections are on display in a beautiful design center created with ease of selection in mind, where Buyers and coordinator review and make choices for their home room by room.
